While “Sushi Grade” is not a standardized term, the FDA does provide guidelines for the preparation of fish intended for raw consumption. These guidelines often include freezing certain fish species at extremely low temperatures to eliminate parasites.
Regarding Walden Local’s fish share, our fish does not undergo the specific freezing treatment recommended for sushi preparation. Therefore, we cannot specifically recommend our current offering for making sushi. Hope this helps!
