We’re thrilled to be partnering with Tom McGrath of Worcester, New York for this launch. Tom runs a small, 45 cow dairy farm with his wife and 3 kids, and with your support, we’ll be able to bring his certified organic and 100% grass-fed whole milk to our member community! Milk will be available for pre-order from your specials page from the start of July to the end of September.
How it Works.
Milk will be available to add to your share from your specials page for as long as supplies last starting in the month of July. We’ll be working closely with Tom to receive our first batch of his A2 milk, which will be delivered in your October share. Thanks to your upfront payment, your first delivery of milk in October will be at no charge! You’ll be signed up to receive milk each month after October, but you can always change your share preferences from your member page.
Why prepay and pre-order?
When you pre-order milk from Walden, you are supporting local dairy production and the growth of small industrious farms. Planning is critical (especially on small farms), and your pre-order will allow Walden and Tom to ensure we’re ready for everyone who wants milk. Our members’ financial commitments will allow us to work with Tom to grow his existing herd and processing facilities to meet the needs of our members. This is local at work!
