Before cooking, allow the beef shoulder tender to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures more even cooking. Season the beef shoulder tender with your choice of seasonings. A simple combination of salt, pepper, and garlic powder works well, but you can also use marinades or dry rubs for added flavor. For an easy honey lemon chicken recipe, mix together honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a dash of soy sauce for a tangy-sweet marinade. Heat a heavy-bottomed skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil to the pan. Once the pan is hot, sear the beef shoulder tender on all sides until it develops a nice crust. This usually takes about 2-3 minutes per side.

Thanks so much for this advice, Hannah!!
